by Thark on Nov 25, 2008, 03:24 PM As World of Warcraft celebrates its Fourth Anniversary, so to does Dawn of the Dead.
In a game where guilds seem to come and go, we’ve been around since the beginning and will be around for a long time to come. It’s hard to describe at times, but Dawn of the Dead has truly created an atmosphere where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. One of the central concepts is that we play for fun. We have the same strong desire to progress as other guilds, but we’ve never done so at the expense of our members. Not putting short term gains ahead of long term goals has kept us stable and happy.
Almost half of our current raiders were with us when we were still learning to raid in Molten Core. Looking back at how we used to raid back then, and even in The Burning Crusade, really shows how far we’ve come. You’ve all made the past four years much more fun for me, and I feel very privileged to be your guild leader. Here’s to the future!

by Brom on Oct 15, 2008, 11:28 PMEZ Mode! Killed him so fast, there was no kill shot. Oops. Rant time! Yes I know it's 3.0 where the bosses are nerfed and we are buffed but this fight was dumb. We struggled for 2 months because you needed the perfect raid balance. It's poor design when half of your healers have to sit out or respec. You shouldn't need an active guild roster of 42 (with 5 shaman) to do one fight. I'm glad Blizzard admitted this fight was a poor design. 294 Views | 6 Replies
